About me

Bart Schaneman lives in western Nebraska, where he works as the Editor of the Scottsbluff Star-Herald. He was raised on a farm, has worked as a journalist for a decade, and lived in Asia for five years. He is the author of the novel The Green and the Gold (currently out of print), the travelogue Trans-Siberian and collection of essays Someplace Else: On Wanderlust, Expatriate Life, & the Call of the Wild.
